Preliminary information note
Dear colleagues
The Vyatka State University invites you to take part in Fluoropolymers: research, production problems, new applications conference, which is to be held on October 14-17, 2019.
The conference is planned as a place for discussion of pressing scientific and practical issues in synthesizing innovative fluoropolymer materials for modern energy, aircraft, rocket, mechanical engineering, chemical, and petrochemical industries. A wide range of fundamental and applied issues is meant to be spotlighted at the conference. The issues will cover synthesis of fluoropolymers, modeling of new materials processing, manufacture of innovative products. Special attention will be paid to the practical application of such materials, and to the difficulties that hence arise.
The key issues to be discussed at the conference:
- Controlled polymerization of fluorinated monomers
- Simulation of the synthesis and processing of fluorinated polymers
- Approaches to the assessment of the fluorinated polymers' structure and properties
- Proton and ionic conductivity of fluorinated polymers and its application in modern power industry
- Adhesive, sorption, and other surface phenomena of fluorinated polymers and new applications of fluoropolymers
At the conference we plan to pay considerable attention to such ever expanding fields of fluoropolymers application as: fuel cells manufacture, membrane ions separation, manufacture of implants and other medical items, civil engineering, aircraft industry, etc.
The conference participants and guests are invited to visit fluoropolymers synthesizing companies and companies manufacturing fluoropolymer-based products. The companies, residing in the Kirov region, are GaloPolimer Kirovo-Chepetsk, Pervyy ftoroplastovyy zavod, MITO, Stalaflon, and others. The participants and guests are also welcome at the Vyatka State University's engineering center and small innovative enterprises park.
